A leading multinational food & beverage company seeks Employment Counsel reporting to the VP & General Counsel to support Canadian employment and labour matters.
About the Role
A leading multinational food and beverage company is seeking an Employment Counsel to join its Canadian legal team and support national business operations. Reporting directly to the VP & General Counsel, this role provides legal guidance on a broad range of employment and labour matters, including policy development, employment agreements, collective agreement administration, litigation management, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements, advising on human resource and labour matters, supporting cross-functional business initiatives, and managing employment compliance issues.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of employment law experience at a leading law firm and the ability to balance practical business advice with strong legal judgment.
